Furry Collective assembled in early October 2020 through chance networking, cohered through speed and happenstance but nonetheless united by (at least) three points in common:

1. We’re furries--inveterately and unashamedly so! The animal-people are in music-space.
2. We produce with fidelity to the ideas of independent, alternative, and otherwise weird musics.
3. Our world is an emergency that requires drastic thought and action. While we no doubt represent a heterogeneous set of political beliefs, we are all committed to fighting a system that oppresses and immiserates the vast majority of the globe.

Quarantine Halloween was born out of a simple prompt: produce a collection of generally spooky and seasonally appropriate cover songs for Halloween, with all proceeds directed toward a worthy cause. With this in mind, we’ve decided to donate all earnings from Quarantine Halloween to The Trevor Project, “the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to LGBTQ young people.”
